Charlie just hates bottles/milk

I can get him to drink 6-8oz but he must jave somthing in his hand playing at the same time... its like he wont drink unless distracted and even thats a struggle.

Sippy cup he likes but only drinks about an oz of and just has water.

Food hes brilliant with.. but i worry he doesnt get enough hydration.

Does anyone else's babies only drink distracted!?

Refuses milk or bottles!?

And how much drinks do they have throughout the day!

Im worn out with worrying if hes under the weather or if its behavioural

@ells123 its like he never wants a bottle

.. he will drink it if hes playing with somthing in the other hand but if not he cries.. messes... pushes it away!

His sippy cup he likes but prob drinks an oz in total then is bored!

How much does violet drink in a sippy cup?

He has lots of yogurts ect he loves them but im so worried about dehydration.. he would sometimes go 14 hours without a drink and i fear it could go bk to that.. even the hv couldnt get him to drink!

I cant wait till the day bottles are gone for good! Xxx

Maybe reduce the food he eats or offer milk before food? Milk is more important nutritionally than food before the age of 1 :) But if he is eating well then I wouldnt worry. Maybe give him vitamin drops so hes getting extra etc? Is he having enough wet nappies? Xxx

I know it's not really a long term replacement but what about giving him melon or cucumber as snacks as they are full of water, what about letting him try to drink from your cup? May be a bit messy but if he sees that he can drink like mummy does then it might encourage him. xxx

I still give Erica majority of her water in a bottle rather than her cup because she drinks more that way, especially when she's teething! As long as he's eating well and having wet nappies I'm sure he'll be ok xx

@winterbaby95 i alwaya give before food amyway coz i know what hes like with bottles.

I do think im gonna start giving him vitamins xxx

Ladies my daughters speech therapist wants me to stop giving my daughter her milk from the bottle. She only drinks from the bottle her milk before and after she wakes up she doesn’t ask bottle all day has no attachment. Its doctor brown bottle y cut wish those of u who arent familiar its just like sippy cup. I just like it because she can drink with no air we tried different ones and she just doesnt like them so any good bottle or any ideas of what can i use or should do?

For example: my son only drink chocolate milk :( he will drink white milk and cereal but never by it self ) with my daughter I’m trying to not give her NONE . Is it normal for babies around 11 months to stop liking their bottle? Lately my son hasn’t been drinking as much milk as he used to and he’s super interested in food now. This morning when he woke up he only wanted to drink 3 oz then started screaming for breakfast and refused to drink anymore of his bottle. He just really likes food now and all he wants to do is eat. I can’t wAit till he’s a year so he can get most of his nutrients from food instead of his bottle.
