Situation- My son was eating pizza & my mil brought her mom over from Puerto Rico because she’s in a really bad condition & my son went to go give her a piece of crust & she went “ el puta madre “ & i knew what she meant but i had to double check to make sure. I asked my bf but my bil & sil were there too & said that she shouldn’t of said that because it was to my son not me. & we went to go tell my mil that she said that & she came snapping at all of us saying she meant it in a good way. & that mostly all the Spanish swearing words can mean something good. Now please tell me if she meant it in a good or bad way? Because everyone but my mil is saying she meant it in a bad way... & i know alot of Spanish but apparently to her i don’t understand. 🤷♀️🤦🏽♀️😣

according to my SO who is also puerto Rican he said that in so many words she was not pleased with your son bringing her the crust then asked me why i asked lol so i explained and even he said she could have said something else
Definitely is bad to me. She shouldn’t have said it. I don’t know how it would be used in a nice way.
I think u maybe be looking into it to much, Spanish can mean so many different things in different ways, older people don’t know better .. don’t let it get to you, if she continues then I would definitely say something on how she is addressing it ... good luck momma !

I don’t speak Spanish but grew up around it and my man is Hispanic , I wouldn’t take that lightly at all girl .. can’t see where that could be used towards a child in a “good way”
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Dd went camping with my mil and step fil. Well dd got back today and I was asking her how it went. She told me mil made her sleep in the car the first night with her step daughter who is 14. Dd said she was cold and scared that She was crying. She said mil and step fil slept in the tent. Wtf?? I asked mil if it was true and she said yes, that they got there late and she decided to just leave her in the car with it on. I'm very upset.
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
