How does it feel when your water breaks ?

@mrsjones24 oh my I don't even remember my contractions

@ebonyearley1 wow 12 hours is alot I was in labor 8 hrs hopefully everything goes smooth with this one my boyfriend is scared to come in the delivery room but I really want him there I always imagine him there

@verguinia that's how I was with my son as well my water didnt break. They used a needle to break mine too. My daughter my water broke

@ebonyearley1 I had regular but I only felt pain in my back and then I started opening went in three centimeters open and the it kept opening but the water didn't break so they used some big big needle thingy to open it but I didn't see the water come out or feel it break

Went in around 4am and had him at 333pm

But I was in labor 12 hours with my son

😂Yes I hope we both don't. I went in around 3am and I had a csection about 3 hours later

@ebonyearley1 your contractions took longer to come wow I wonder what will happen to me I never felt that

Felt like I had to pee. But my water broke and then I had slight contractions about a hour later.

@verguinia, lol yes it does part of labor of love lol

I’m usually have contractions then water bag breaks.. plug comes out before that..

Could be a gush or feels like your slowly peeing yourself

@littleonemorning it's true so different and I learned so much from this site already wish I knew about it with my first child

@verguinia, every pregnancy is different. I have heard of a lot of women who have never had their water break. But you have time.

@verguinia, you aren’t suppose to stay at home once your water breaks, once it breaks you need to go to the hospital.

@verguinia, well if your water breaks at home I 100% recommend changing underwear/clothes and putting on a maxi pad and go to the hospital

It feels like a balloon filled with water finally gushing but those contractions aren't no joke

@verguinia, it didn’t for me. You may have cramps from the contractions if you have those, that’s really all I could feel.

It feels like that feeling when you first get your period a gush

Feels like a gush and like you peed yourself. Can feel kind of relieving too.

It doesn’t hurt but it feels like a water balloon has popped in your pelvic area and then it feels like you’re peeing and can’t stop it
