@rachelhalchak No problem 😊 Feel free to dm me in the future if you run into trouble. Oh! And the day you leave, either have someone with you that's a male or lock yourself into a room because God only knows how he'll react to your leaving. Don't let him grab ahold of him or even get near him. I'm only saying this because he may know what I've told you and could very well take advantage of it and leave even though he doesn't even want to take care of the baby. That's what my BD tried to do. He literally believes that if we went to court and he went for custody, he'd get her. But my BD has several violent charges on his record, on top of the fact that he beat me senseless for almost two years. So he wouldn't be able to get custody if he tried after all the stalking and harassing he's done over the past almost 3 years. I hope that me telling you that enlightened a little more for you. Let me know if you want to know anything else.
@rachelhalchak He doesn't have the right to tell you where you can go. You're allowed to take your baby and leave at any time, especially if you feel threatened. I left the state without my BD's permission and he has no idea where I am. Being as you're wanting to leave him, the moment you do, block him on all social media and texting. That'll help you if you want to get sole custody of your baby in the future and even child support.
@1st_time_wonder, can I leave state without his permission? He sits around and play video games all day. I asked him today to give Aiden a bath because my legs were hurting so bad from my new job and he said” why can’t you do it “ he game me permission to go live in West Virginia with Aiden then all of a sudden he changed his mind. He says that if he wanted to go out of state with Aiden, that he could, but I can’t 😪 he treats me like crap also. My mom and I are gonna go down to the police station and talk to them.
Here in Georgia even though the dad is on the certificate. The mother has sole rights. With folks that I known gotten divorce the mother ended up with the kids. But custody was split!
I see you live in Florida so I'll warn you that I've spoken to cops and they say it's equal. My ex fiance tried to kidnap my daughter and I ran down the street screaming at him. Several people called the cops. She was 4 FUCKING MONTHS OLD. When the cops got there, and I told them what's up, they told me we both had equal rights. He could literally grab and walk away with her without my permission. That scared the crap out of me. So I warn... if that's your situation... make SURE that man doesn't come near your baby. They won't consider kidnapping. They'll ignore it and tell you what they told me. Thus the reason I'm now in Georgia filing a restraining order against my BD because he's just a piece of shit.
