What are good ways to help my baby poop? She’s only 8 days old

@rebekahhh97, still normal she can go 2 days without pooping and unless she’s crying in pain and uncomfortable then it’s completely okay

@noahs.mommy, no not breastfeeding she didn’t like my milk :/ so we formula feed

My baby was the same she wouldn’t poop for 3 days & when she did she will cry bad I would just rub her back & belly soft & give her water like 1oz & syrup just a lil drop of it that’s called karo it worked so good for her but yeah ask her pedí ...

@rebekahhh97, are you breastfeeding? It’s completely normal for babies not to poop for days at a time if they are breast feeding and I think 2 days or something like that if formula feeding. If she doesn’t seem uncomfortable or anything then she’s okay and it’s just something they do and it’s a normal thing. When Noah was breastfeeding he didn’t poop for like 4 days and no body cared because it was basically normal.

@deliciouslyprofoundturtle, I have to call in the morning, it just started today so I’ve been watching her and she’s been just farting she has like one wet fart but not like the normal poops she’s been having and I can tell when she’s pushing

Talk to her doctor. If she's having issues pooping w/in the first month you need to talk to her doctor. For that first month they should be pooping everyday at least once a day
