So after 2 sweeps yesterday now having period pains and brown discharge when I wipe. But also feel as if I’ve got a really bad cold has anyone else had this

Not the cold,but the rest sounds just like me the day of my sweep and the day before Daria was born!
I had a sweep Friday pm then brown when I wiped all Saturday and back ache went to bed Saturday feeling like I was coming down with a bad cold shaky and just not well then when I woke Sunday water broke and he was born that night xx fingers crossed that's what's happening to u xx
Both midwife s said that they can feel her head. But getting really bad pelvic pressure as well x
Sweep does generally bring some brown discharge period pains are a good sign though. Try bouncing up and down and keep on your feet if your trying to bring labour on x
Community midwife did one at surgery but sent me to hospital for monitoring due to high blood pressure and while I was there the midwife tried again because the first midwife couldn’t do it properly due to tilted cervix x
Fingers crossed then I’m 40+2 tomorrow
