@maddoxsmommy2017, that’s exactly what it is. If it’s not benefiting the money hungry government, they don’t want others profiting from it without getting their cut.

@mom_x3_x2bonuskids, oh wow😯 that’s scary. I definitely agree it’s not worth it if they threaten to take your child. she lives in DC where weed is legal. But I don’t know what their laws are like in regards to smoking while pregnant. In Maryland the ob makes you do urine samples every time you go in for a check up. I feel bad because I’ve witnessed her morning sickness before smoking and after and she looks terrible without smoking. She lost so much weight from constantly throwing up and not being able to eat.

@ntmarshall27 I don't know how it is where y'all are ,but here they just now opened the medical cannabis shop ,but if you don't got it and get pulled over with a quarter it's a automatic felony ...i think it's all about not being able to tax it in my opinion🤔

@_naturalnurtuter_, that’s the same thing my friend is going through. I had morning sickness when I was pregnant. I know how annoying and draining that can get. And that’s really good! Your daughter is a strong little girl 💪🏽💖

@maddoxsmommy2017, that’s so invasive. Cps treat mothers who smoke weed like they’re hardcore drug addicts 🤦🏽‍♀️ I know plenty of great loving mothers that smoke weed for their own reasons(myself included).

Smoked occasionly during my pregnancy ,& had a healthy 8.6lb baby .I quit a couple months before I delivered so I didn't test positive !

I had a friend that assent so lucky an tested positive ,she gets random pop ups from cps,but other then that she still has her baby

Yes Cps will be called for positive thc and you will have to test clean for parental rights

I smoked during my pregnancy with my second baby because I had terrible morning sickness and couldn’t eat. That was the only way I could eat. My daughter didn’t come out healthy but it wasn’t because of the marijuana. I had a lot of stress and problems during my pregnancy and it hindered her health a lot in the last stages. But she’s 3 and smart as ever. Same for my son too

@skylersmommy11916, My friend has terrible morning sickness. She can’t stop throwing up unless she smokes and the same goes for when she eats. She’s been prescribed multiple drugs from her ob that don’t help like weed does for her. She’s tried the oil that you drop under your tongue but she said that’s only temporary relief. The edibles is definitely a good alternative @nerdymommyplus2, thank you.

Smoking weed definitely isn't as bad as some medications can be and it is helpful with depression and anxiety due to pregnancy hormones. I've never smoked myself but I know people who have and have had perfectly healthy babies, but what @nerdymommyplus2 said should be considered as an alternative

Any type of smoking has risks .

If she wants to do it she should find another way instead of smoking like edibles or something.
