can moms with colic babies give me any advice? i truly think my son is colic and i’m hysterical crying and have not slept more than 3 hours in two days. please help 😭
@abbyannnella, This is the first time we fed him with the Heiple allergenic Similac, before this no he has only been getting worse. Right now I noticed no difference but it’s only the first feeding so I’m hoping that throughout the rest of the day maybe he will be a little bit better
@abbyannnella, My son is on the colic Susa drops by Gerber currently, and acid reflux medicine and now a hypoallergenic formula
@tianamwicks418, I have heard good stuff about biagia drops not sure if spelled right ask your doctor for them
@jskidsmom, my husband works 7-3pm so overnight he just lays there while i deal with the baby
@skylersmommy11916, Use only doctor browns :( idk for sure if he’s colic just how he acts. He used to sleep 3-5 hours now it’s 1.5 hours he’s so miserable
@jskidsmom, I might have to start walking away honestly, I was such a mess last night I was crying my eyes out and my husband doesn’t really help when he has to go to work in the morning so I’m basically on my own
I don't know what bottles you use but Dr Browns bottles are the best at preventing colic for most babies. Once in a while it isn't the case but with my son I used those and he was never colicky. He had gas issues but it wasn't colic, and for those issues he would spit up a lot so I would put gas drops in his formula and he slept in an inclined bassinet.
Gripe water and hold him on your arm where his stomach is laying along your arm and slowly bounce...it helped my girl move the gas along. My daughter was the same way and I remember I would cry all the time take a breathe step away for 5 minutea if you need to he is ok to cry for a few minutes while you collect yourself
Have you tried white noise? Has worked wonders since my baby girl was 2 wks. So far, she only seem to like the first one I've ever played for her. They actually have several that's supposed to soothe a baby with colic.
@abbyannnella, me too, thank you
