When did you guys start giving other liquids? I still give alex just formula

I gave my daughter sugar free coolaid and apple juice at 9 months

I switched Karen off of formula and went to whole milk at 12 months

@karensmommy is it safe?

I was told nothing but formula until she's a year. She's a year now but idk what to do lol

@dpinkpixie10 her Dr told me know t was fine just no more than 6 oz but that was at 9 months. Karen drinks everything now I just cut it with some water

My doctor says 8oz of water in a sippy cup at 8 months. I did just that with my son and really it was to help introduce the sippy cup to him. I only just recently started giving him juice at 2 years. I fill his cup with water then add a small splash of apple juice.

I would definitely ask your doctor what they feel is right. I do know that if your baby is on formula they get plenty of fluid from that alone to avoid dehydration.

See her Dr wanted her to have water along with formula at 10 months so idk I guess every docor is different

Your daughter is free to drink pretty much anything. Although, I advise against sugary drinks or anything artificial.

Milk is the go-to after formula.

Yes and it says whole milk on it 😂😂😂 I asked the same thing when I put Karen on milk but I asked if it was the green cap (my mom drank eggnog)
