I had been awake about 10 minutes before my water broke. Didn’t even think about grabbing my makeup to take to L&D with me. This time I’m planning on bringing it. I never let people take pictures and post them of me with no makeup but this time it was different.
Lol good luck I always said I’m going to make sure to put makeup on while in labor and didn’t do it for either pregnancy lol you’ll be in so much pain at that time your not even going to care about your face trust me
@roseteamommy, I just think the time of birthing your offspring is the time women are most beautiful. The power and strength they go through to just push this tiny human out. It’s very stunning. If you’ve ever seen raw birth photos you can see the love and care and hard work a mother does. I didn’t do make up at all During labor and delivery but doing makeup afterwards for like newborn pictures is pretty okay. It just irritates men especially whose girls put make up on during L&D because some women do it for themselves while others do not. Husband bfs baby daddy whatever don’t give a shit what you look like when you’re going through that unless they’re pretty shitty. Having a baby isn’t a party ya know?

I did my makeup during both my labors but I used waterproof mascara and I was sweating and crying like a baby! But I’m glad I did though because my pictures from the delivery and right after were great!! I’m still waiting to get all of them back from my last delivery because we hired a photographer to be in the room but from the few I saw already they did turn out pretty good! My husband was like really brittany? I was like yeah I’m getting ready to meet the love of my life i don’t want him to see me looking like a trash bag 😂😂😂 we both died laughing
