So my daughter is five , my son is 3 n my other daughter is 3 I didn’t put them in pre school only home teach , so what other mommies home teach ? And what do they need to know to be prepared for real school!!???? Help!!!!

My kids are young but I used to work at an elementary...they should know their Abcs, numbers(at least to 20) how to use scissors , how to trace/write their name,colors, basic shapes
I know people who did & being that they are so young they only need to know the basics to keep up

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. Overall whats everyones thoughts on this. Me personally I dont mind lgbt .but to teach it I feel like is a waste . I can teach my own children that if they ask or even wanna know
When my son got to kindergarten, they expected him to at least be able to write his name, his letters, numbers to 10. He was well above his peers when he got there though because I worked with him and also set him up with ABC mouse.
