It annoys me to the core seeing my SO interact with our daughter. He has four kids and he is so awkward with her. He has trouble with the simplest things. He just get on my nerves so much that I don’t want his help with her. No matter how much I try to help him or show him the easier way of doing things he still doesn’t get it. He does not know how to be a dad.

My husband was the same way when our kids were new borns. He shouldn't be shamed for it. Guys just do better when the kids aren't small & wobbly

@breederofboyz, I’m not shaming him. It’s just hard for me cause he always says he knows what he’s doing cause he has three other kids, oldest being eight and he’s done this before. But when you see him he looks like he doesn’t have a clue. He has two other daughters and ours being his third and I had to tell
Him front to back. It’s just simple things like this that bother me.

@jmilanes3, I don’t think so. She is small but not so much as when she was born. Before, the first three weeks I didn’t let him do anything cause she was so small and fragile but now I let him get more involved. This is my first kid and I agree with you when saying you prolly treated her like a porcelain doll cause In the beginning I did. @jmilanes3, he just tries to dress her as if she could help him I guess. Like he’s tried taking her onsie off by pulling it over her arms and head at once. He doesn’t check if she needs her diaper changed when she starts to fuss. He just assumes she’s hungry There’s a few things that get me.
