The docs usually have some ugly brown paste they can put on it. My doc did it with both my girls. It helps

That's okay. Just take a q tip and peroxide to it to clean it off and fold the diaper down so it doesn't rub it. It'll heal.

My daughters umbilical cord look the same and pediatrician told me to clean it and air dry so it wouldn't get it infected. I did and it turn out to be just fine
