I’m on the pill for birth control. Before i got pregnant i was on a pill and it worked fine. So after i had my son i decided to get back on that because i didn’t have any problems with it at all. Well I’m on day 12 of my period I’m not even suppose to be on it so i called my doctor and she switched me to a different pill she said she thinks it’ll stop this period. My normal period is only 7 days. Well I’m on day 3 of this new pill and I’m still in this period. When should i cal her and tell her it didn’t stop it?

I would say after 3 days it should be in your system so if it were me i would call her.

My body did that. My doctor put me on the highest dose and said if that didn't work they'd have to try an IUD. I never told her it didn't work lol

My periods are usually 3-4 days but when I had ovarian cysts, I bled for 35 days straight. Hopefully it’s nothing like that!

@dbarton041, i have a cyst it’s the size of a lemon on one ovary. I’ve had it for over a year.

@annekam1022, oh I didn’t know! That was the only way I found out about my cyst until of course, it ruptured.

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Can I have everyone’s opinions on me being 5cm dilated 50% effaced my cervix is high but the baby’s head is there and I wasn’t sent to labor and delivery. My mom is taking me cause she thinks it wasn’t right that my dr didn’t send me over to the hospital so she wants me looked at again. I THINK my dr stripped my membrane but I’m not sure(I say I’m not sure cause she says things and then I’m not sure what she meant she did or didn’t do and I don’t ask but she said “let’s see if we can change that for you” when I told her I’m just tired and in pain all the time)
