So my stepsons mom sent me a picture of a sign up form for donuts with dads and said “logan brought this home, but I figured Josh wouldn’t want to take off work, so my husband would be more than happy to go. But josh can go if he wants.” He, their father can go if he wants? He doesn’t need your permission and why wouldn’t he want to go? It’s not like he has little to nothing to do with his boys, they live with us. They go to her house 3 days a week after school for a few hours. No offense to her husband, he’s a great step dad and if they could have more than one dad come, that’d be great. However, that’s not the case. Idk why that made me so mad. I guess just how would she feel if my SO suggested that I take the boys to something like that and assume I would/could go over her?
