Breastfeeding mamas, what can I do to help lose this baby weight I put on? My son is 11 weeks old. They say breastfeeding is supposed to help you lose weight, but not for me. I stay so hungry all the time and I eat double the amount I used to, even more than when I was pregnant. Any advice on how I can lose some of this weight and not hurt my supply.

You have to eat more when breastfeeding. Breastfeeding hunger is the worst I get your pain. Add more fruits and water when you are feeling hungry. As soon as your baby has a more regular schedule you can find the time to work out, nothing last forever.

As many as you want I guess. No real answer but most people have 3 meals and snacks between. Keeping a food journal can help. There's an app called myfitnesspal that can keep track of what you eat and it will show you your calories for the day. Most women are between 1500-2000 calories a day.

Depends what you're eating. You may be eating empty calories and not staying full. While breastfeeding its important to keep a slight caloric increase but watching what you eat can help keep your weight down.
