Have any of y’all had any luck with getting grants/scholarships?
Are there better ways of going about getting them/finding them?
Anything I should know?

If anyone is trying to get any tattoos done on them, I really recommend you not to especially if you are pregnant. You can seriously HARM the child!
Are there any mamas getting help with WIC??? Do I have to call them first or do I just go up to dhs??
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
I want some braces so BAD 😩 anybody have any experience in getting them or have them now??

I see you’re from Louisiana as well and I’m trying to figure all of that out too. I just got accepted to ULM and it’s so stressful going through all the processes right now😩 I went to a different college for one semester after having my daughter and I wasn’t married at the time so I got a grant for that situation.

@coralinesmommy, I live in Lake Charles. How did you go about getting the grant? Did you like find places online or go to school and apply?

@chefsurahh, First you have to pick a school that you want to go to, apply, and then get accepted. Then you need to talk to the financial aid office at your school. The office will ask you to fill out a form called FASFA. This will help to determine what financial aid you are eligible for. Then you should also ask about if there are any other grants you can apply for and they should be able to help you.
Signing up for college when your not straight out of high school is definitely a challenge and a very long process. I went to college for 2 years, took a break for a year to be with my daughter, and now I’m going back and I’ve been trying to get things going since October and things still aren’t finished.
And thank you! We had a friend that named their daughter Caroline so we put a spin on it and named our daughter Coraline.

@coralinesmommy, I meant Coraline. That’s the way I read it, but didn’t spell it. Ugh I’m so sorry I know that gets annoying lol
I know Bc my daughters name is Harlyn and everyone calls her Harley, Haley, etc. and I’m like NO ITS Harlyn.
