Ugh, my mother in law had the nerve of asking what I would pay for items until I told her none your business. Especially if I paid for it. “que le importa si yo lo compré.” Dude swear it was the last time she asked. It would get so annoying especially if I got a good deal and she would make faces. Like why are you spending it.

That’s how my family is they have to have a say on anything I buy for my kids like it’s theirs. And it’s not even their money which is more frustrating

@mommytonicolas I feel like I'm going to tell her the same thing one of these days. She doesn't know when to shut up. The other day my bf was talking about how his co-worker got engaged. And how he doesn't think his sister is ever getting married because she's voice she doesn't want to get married. And she goes on to say infront of me. I don't think any of my kids is ever getting married, their just going to give me grandkids. And in okay with that!!!Lord I held my tongue. I wanted to say: His son with be 30 this year, we have 2 kids together and going on 7 years together. @km416 it's irritating, but don't have an opinion when they buy then stuff. She bought my son pink burp towels..and I told her mhmm their pink. She immediately said sooo, I'm going to use them for him. Well my petty ass got rid of them and sold them on offer up. Lol my son is a boy not a girl, thank you very much

@lezlie527 She’s even made comments like I never bought my kids stuff from Used, Payless or Goodwill. Which I have but they are great quality items. I just bought him used Timbs almost brand new for less than half the price. Like I’d be crazier to buy them for $80. You can never win.

@mommytonicolas ughh couldn't agree more, that's my bf mother right there. I go to the goodwill, if you can get a bargain then why not. I also bought my daughter almost brand new converse literally new for $8 on offer up and she was all she's going to grow out of them. I said yeah I know then her brother can wear them. They are dodger blue!! When she wore them, then she was like awww their so cute. Bleh!!

Exactly, she prides herself of how well she raised her kids. Yeah okay!! A boy that can man up.. he's a great father I have nothing bad to say. But best believe I'm raising my son the right way.. one day be a good husband to a good woman. Marriage is beautiful, not a trap!! Guess that's how she made it seem to them..and she been married for over 25years. And I agree, we've talked about it, his mom had pretty much scared him into not doing so. It's sad!!

That’s sad. Hopefully he gets his mind straight. Marriage is beautiful and hard work but definitely manageable.
