My daughter's soft spot on top of her head is sunken in. Never had the issue with my son. She is eating every 2 hours, spits up quite a bit after feeding. What could be causing this? I know I'm producing enough milk.

It's just the ER and Urgent Care are flooded with flu right now so I would call your pediatrician after hours line (or whomever is on call for them) and discuss with them the situation before exposing her to the flu unnecessarily.

Ok that’s good that you don’t have to worry about that. I thought I was over reacting too, because it seemed like such a trivial thing. But I’m so glad I brought her in though and got it fixed! It was right around 2-3 months old too

@hmarie1296 any visits to ER and what not is covered under Tricare so that doesn't concern me. I wanted advice because I didn't wanna seem like that over reacting mom

It might be a little expensive due to it being an ER visit but you’d rather be safe then sorry. I thought I was being too overprotective/dramatic when I brought her in for her spitting up and they said not to worry and that I did the right thing.

I had that issue with my daughter minus the soft spot being sunken in. In her case she was sensitive to the dairy I had been consuming (milk, yogurt, etc) and once I cut that out she almost completely stopped spitting up. I would 100% take her in to the ER especially if her soft spot is sunken in, that usually means they’re dehydrated and she needs to get fluids as soon as possible. With my daughter they said go in right away if we noticed anything unusual with her soft spots. It’s a good thing you noticed it!

@mamaofzuri it would take a few days to get into her Dr. Would an ER visit be ok? Or no...
