Anyone have preterm labor? I got this unbearable pain in my back, worse that normal and I have had horrible back pain this whole pregnancy...then I started getting cramps super low in my abdomen...they felt constant but I was in so much pain they I didn't time them or anything. I was crying so bad it hurt. And I have a lot of pressure on my vagaga...does this sound like preterm labor? I'm about to call my dr
@babymomma2018, I know it’s really awful but I don’t wanna lie to you and be like OH ITS FINE YOULL BE OKAY and all that. It sucks but it’s the reality of soon becoming a mommy. If more women had false labor I think they would decide against natural birth. I never recommend going completely natural. It’s so exhausting. You’re more exhausted after doing all that pushing through all the pain (you usually push for a long time) then you are with an epidural. Not hating on moms who do go natural but I think it’s awful. I had an epidural and was able to push my baby out in 14 minutes get stitched and was on my way to recovery. All while not feeling a thing and they gave me pain meds and sedatives (sedatives because I was close to bleeding out and they needed me to rest I was anemic and didn’t take my pill) and I was alright. I was moving around and stuff by the 2nd day.
@mollyfulton1996 Ik me too!!! Google said it could be 3 different things! But I had the feeling it wasn't just "bad gas" as Google offered 😂 guess momma does know best lmao
@babymomma2018 that's fucked. I hate that most pregnancy symptoms can be multiple things. But that's good that you got there when you did
@crystal.newman yeah...for the first 4 hours they didn't let me pee!!! They told me to pee in a pan but my body was like "um no this isn't right" 😭😂 but I'm hoping I haven't dilated more too...i wanna go sleep in my bed for 3 days straight lol
@mollyfulton1996 no. No blood or mucus plug or water bag. Nothing...but it's a good thing I went in...i was 3 cm dilated and they said it doesn't take much more for him to try to come out bc he's so tiny rn!!
@babymomma2018, glad to hear!! I really hope you haven’t dilated anymore. You’re probably gonna be on bed rest.
@crystal.newman so far so good...just been monitored and put on an all liquid diet...im sooooo hungry! Lol pretty sure I'm going to golden corral as soon as I'm discharged 😂 they don't think lil dude is coming but they have to check me at about 12 to see if dilation has gone up or not.
That's exactly what I felt a couple nights ago, but it was just a bad UTI. Did you bleed or anything else besides the pain?
@crystal.newman yes i got that painful ass shot in my thigh and the mag esium felt so weird!! My contractions weren't as strong but I was still having them n d idnt feel it...they were about to let me go until the stuck a finger in my vagaga and found out I was 3 cm dialated 😭 girl they won't let me go pee...they told me to pee in a pan but I tried and my body would not let it happen...
Were you still having contractions and not really feeling them???
@babymomma2018, omg really???!! That’s super rare though!!! Well I did have preterm labor with my first but it was stopped. Are they doing magnesium on you? Got your corticosteroid shots or anything?
@crystal.newman Update! It wasn't a false alarm...im 3 cm dialated and they're doing everything they can to keep him in there...theu don't know if he'll listen tho 😂😭
@crystal.newman 😂😂😂 I hope it goes smoothly for me too! I'm pretty decent with pain so hoping the like won't even feel it lol
@abbyann80 they have me hooked up to a monitor rn...hope it's false labor...hes too little to come now
Mine was real labour just how you explained right there
@babymomma2018, you got that right!! And don’t worry the epidural does not hurt like people think it does. You get numbed. They poke you and then they start releasing the epidural very slowly while they position it correctly in your spine. It literally and I mean literally feels like someone is poking on your bone. Like you know when a doctor says you’re gonna feel pressure and it’s like “stab!! Stinging!! Horrible” no it actually is pressure and once that little tube tiny tiny tube of medicine is in your. You feel nothing it’s so great. You can talk and play on your phone. Downfall is you have a catheter in your pee hole (they cover up the bag so the world don’t see) and you can’t happily walk around and you’ll feel like you have to pooh. Overall my labor experience was really good and actually delivering was easy. Don’t worry about not feeling the contractions. Just push every other minute. They will set that tempo for you. If you don’t push every other minute they will slowly turn the epidural medicine down. And it wears off rather quickly (that was my issue and I yelled at my doctor) I was like you better turn that shit back up. And smart ass doctor said well you better start pushing then. Lolol
@crystal.newman I definitely plan on the drugs 😂😂 thank u for the honesty tho! I'd rather know what to expect then be totally clueless...in this case ignorance is NOT bliss 😂

@babymomma2018, you’ll be lucky if it don’t happen again girl..really. I’d say since i was about 29 weeks I’ve had 4 bouts of false labor. I just turned 35 weeks today.
@crystal.newman gotcha...i have no idea what's happening or what to expect so I'm freaking out...hopfully it was just false labor and I'll get to go home and then this won't happen again until he's actually coming 😭😂 lol
@babymomma2018, gotta love the stupid false labor -.- the only way they will do other stuff if you’re still have contractions and not feeling them. Which is a thing.
@crystal.newman so that's what they'll do than for me and it's been a solid 20 minutes with nothing...b4 it was every 2 or 3 minutes. It hurt so bad I was crying...
@babymomma2018, oh it’s gets worse. Just for it to be completely fine. They MIGHT give you fluids. One day I was in so much pain I cramped my back hurt everything I was FOR SURE I was in labor. Nope. Just falsies. They didn’t even give me fluids just hooked me up and watched for contractions for like an hour.
@crystal.newman I called my Dr and they said to come in for monitoring...but it's died down ALOT...so we're going but I have a feeling they'll just tell me to go home shortly after...but if that's false labor, the real shit is gunna kill me....
It’s gotta stay really consistent. It could be false labor which I’ve had a few bouts of it and just needed some water and food
Having some pretty intense constant lower back pain and maybe super light contractions. But can't tell because the back pain is way over powering contractions so I'm walking around my room to see if they get worse.
I’m 30 weeks and I’ve been having back pain in the middle of my back for a while. Today, I started having cramps and my back was hurting so I figured Braxton Hicks, I took a nap, when I got up I decided to do dishes and couldn’t stand all the way because I had a sharp pain in my lower back, I’ve had cramps again, and maybe some more contractions, still no relief on the back pain. Could this be preterm labor?
I honestly can't wait for the intense pain of contractions, to go in labor and have my husband by my side each step of the way, finally pushing our daughter out info the world just the thought just makes me so emotional and excited I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEPTEMBER ,
okay so I need HELP! I took castor oil with juice about 2 hours ago and I'm having sharp pains in my lower back!!! they take my breath away :(
I want to have a baby so bad and my boyfriend feels the same but says hes not financially ready...so does welfare have to be paid back?
