I cooked tacos my daughter asking for cereal !!! Am I wrong for telling her no , she has to eat what I cooked ? Cereal is not a meal
I see so many mommies giving their babies rice cereal to sleep even though it's not recommended? Why?
do you... Clean up after your SO is done cooking? Or vice versa? DF was cooking and while he was cooking I unloaded the dish washer and hand washed the pot he had used and put dishes in the dish washer, so by the time he got his plate, dishes were done and left overs were in Tupperware on the counter just in case anyone wanted seconds and counters were wiped down. The room mate asked me why I do that, and I just say that's how I was raised. I always clean up after anyone cooks in the house, even after myself. I clean as I cook, so DF doesn't clean up because it's done before dinner is finished lol. But there's rare occasions where he'd be in the kitchen while I cook so he does help out with the cleaning since i cook during the day sometimes so we can heat it up when it's dinner time. I want everyone to get their first and seconds before I eat. My mom has taught me to always clean up after your spouse makes dinner, it's only fair. They put their effort into cooking, you should always help them out.
This may be random but what do yall cook for Christmas? Like I wanna cook but no Thanksgiving food lol...what's traditional for Xmas dinner??
Madi is taking ounce after ounce I literally can not keep up. I want to give her rice cereal to keep her full😑

I usually make dinner and if my son doesn’t want to eat that then I will make something else like a sandwich that I know he will like. I think eating something is better than nothing.

Not wrong at all. If my daughter doesn't eat what I cook, then she doesn't eat. However if she wants fruit or veggies later I will give her those... but nothing else!

I also don’t buy sweet cereal so if she is begging for cereal it’s Cheerios and i don’t feel horrible giving that to her.

I try to offer things my daughter likes with every meal. If she doesn’t want it that’s fine, she doesn’t have to eat it but that’s what she gets. If she doesn’t eat it then she has to wait till snack time. I usually offer a high protein snack about an hour before bed. I don’t let her graze and I’m not a short order cook.

@mamaofzuri I don't even tell my son what it is anymore because his immediate response is "I don't like that." Even when he's NEVER had it. I made lasagna tonight and told him I would tell him what it was after the first bite. He devoured it all and didn't even ask again 😂
