But I'm making the same decision, estrogen based pills mess up milk production and progesterone based birth control like some pills, the shot, rod thing, etc make me bleed for months. Totally up to you. It's not for everyone. Children are a blessing. In my opinion it's best to get your man snipped for $1000 or less when you're done having kids. Getting tubes tied is more risky, more expensive AND harder to get done. They won't do it for me unless I already have two kids and I had a REALLY bad birthing experience the first time so if I can't, good luck with that lol. But sending good vibes!

Good for you mama. I've opted out of using BC as well. I didn't want any extra hormones in my body.

I have been birth control free four years with my first before having our second. I lasted one year on mirena with my second it was a nightmare. We planned baby number three a year later and after having my daughter I never went in on my follow up and I love not having a birth control. Also helps that my husband is fixed 😂😂.
