I'm trying to make bread any bread experts help !!!

I've made my own bread before. What do you need to know?

@isabellesmomma212 how come it didn't puff up after I put yeast :( and what's the best flower to use ?

Did you set a light wet towel over the dough while it sat to rise? I found it works best that way. And I use King Arthur Flour brand, all purpose flour.

It's alright. Not many people know that trick. My mom started making bread for my family when we were young so we learned many tricks along the way. Lol

@isabellesmomma212 I am going towards that road too like your mom we always run out of bread and money so buying flower and making it is less of a hassle since we don't need to go to the store or spend money and we will never run out of it because flower is so much cheaper to buy !

Yes exactly. Cheaper to make your own bread and better for you!

@isabellesmomma212 yes no chemicals !!! And I trully don't like that bread that is so soft you can't even put butter on it because it rips

Yeah regular white bread definitely makes you gain a lot of weight.

Yeah. I don't have a bread machine anymore so haven't been able to make my own in a while. Been buying whole wheat bread. Real whole wheat bread. Always gotta check that it's the right one though. Lol

@isabellesmomma212 I had a bread machine when I lived with my mother but that was like 4 years ago and it was much easier to make bread with it but I'm trying to make it without one now

It's definitely easier to use one. Lol
