@lionesssmommyy I've always been fascinated by other cultures (I have a degree in International Diplomacy, although I'm not really using it). Anyway, I seem to remember something about the "Evil Eye" in Gypsy folklore, but it was a protective charm. This is interesting to me too. Being in Florida, I've learned a lot about Latin culture, and I love it. I was just telling my husband that I love La Dia De Los Muertas (The Day of The Dead)...I think I said that right, no disrespect if I didn't.
@sassymom, idk about gypsy but I’m Mexican and in our culture people believe that bad vibes or bad intentions can harm your innocent baby. :( and i don’t like to believe in superstitions but it’s too much of a coincidence. :(
@mama_kat89, i don’t like to believe in things like that but i took my baby to my grandmas funeral yesterday and my aunt that hates me was there. She came up to me and lifted the blanket and grabbed my baby’s hand. I don’t know how that works but since then... my baby has been crying almost nonstop and he never cries. The only time i had heard him cry like this was during his eye exam in the NICU. He has tears and everything. And he won’t eat. He was up to 80mls and since yesterday i can’t even get him to finish at least 50mls. :( idk what to do
My mom swears up and down someone gave me the ojo. I had blue eyes till i was a year and they turned brown becuase of some lady. My husband's family belive in it too. I guess you have to let ppl see your baby in order to not get it.

My husband's aunt even gave my baby this bracelet to protect him from the ojo. Its just spanish superstition
