I hate to post my personal business but I need to vent. I don't know what we're supposed to do about food and paying our bills this month! I plan on going to the food bank on Monday but they really don't give much and they have a mobile food pantry next week and they give you a bag or so of food. The beginning of the month my fiance lost one of his jobs. Now his horse is hurt so he can't work at all. We do ranching so we have to have a horse to work. We have a few canned goods and a whole chicken and that's all we have to last us. We are a family of 7 so that's not going to be enough. We have $40 in the bank and that is supposed to be able to put gas in both of our vehicles. We are way below income so we should be able to receive Food Stamps but they tell us we have too many resources! Because we have 3 vehicles and one is broke down and we still owe over $3,000 on it so we can't sell it. We have truck payments but we do own our van. The finance companies were supposed to send the office what we owe on the vehicles but they never did so now I'm supposed to reapply if they ever send that information to them. I applied in December and she told me today that I have to reapply. I don't know what we're supposed to do. The church in town recently filled propane for us because we ran out so I don't want to ask them for any more help. I don't know what to do! Our kids are, 2,6,7,10,11 :(

@sunkissedsweetheart there is no point in me working. Town is 30 min away plus I have 3 kids that go to the Dr regularly plus one special needs boy. So I can't work between all appointments and daycare would cost more then I would make. I clean on side. And train and sell horses

@jasthorpe413, Well I’m sure they didn’t but that’s why u don’t depend one one income. You have to think twice. Once for your self and 2nd for your kids. If my husband were to lose his job we would still be fine bc I work as well
@kyriesmom1201, Not judging but that’s also why you don’t depend on one income. Anything could happen he could die he could get sick or could loose his job. That’s why it’s good to have more then one income

Oh contact the school I know it’s hard but most schools give bags or food to the kids to help. My sister was in a bad way and that helped them

Pray it’s all you can do. Have faith and God will provide. Things like this happened to my family growing up and God did miracles.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
