I am terrified to give birth. It's getting closer to that time and I have knots in my stomach thinking about it.

@mollyfulton1996, they put the thing in before my epidural. And had to pop my water the rest of the way! Neither hurt! I got the epidural at 7 cm...the actual birth was a dream I barely felt a thing besides pressure because of the epidural

@samanthaann was this before or after the epidural?

@mollyfulton1996, it’s their job love don’t worry! My contractions didn’t read well on the belts that go on your belly so they stuck this thing up inside of me that went alongside my son’s head to read the contractions so I know exactly what you mean about not wanting them to hurt your baby. You’ve just got to try and trust them because like I said, it is their job! I promise once everything is in full swing these concerns about what or who is touching you will be the last thing on your mind! Lol just try your best to focus on meeting your baby girl!

@samanthaann I know it's all worth it. Honestly though, (might be TMI) it's the thought. I didn't start having sex until last year when she was conceived. I've had issues with trust and abuse from previous relationships so I never had sex. I'm still new to that not to mention all the gadgets the doctor sticks up there. My concern is trusting people I don't know to not hurt me or the baby. It's pretty irrational. But that's what's been going through my head this entire time.

Don’t worry about it! I was so scared too and so is every woman but we all do it and then once it’s over it’s something you look back on and you’ll want to do it all over. Labor is painful and terrible but it is a beautiful experience and it’s the end of your journey and you’ll get an amazing gift from it all ♥️

@pregnancytalk101 I'm excited for her to come, but I also heard that the recovery down there hurts even more. I hope she has a small head because I don't want too many stitches. I think I'm more scared of the recovery than anything. I have so many questions..like if you have stitches how are you supposed to clean yourself? Cuz you obviously can't clean with a loofah

@pregnancytalk101 I had a really bad one 2 nights ago. My entire back was in shooting pain. I couldn't move..it was like that for 2 hours straight

@pregnancytalk101 I've had a couple contractions and lightening crotch..and I know it's gonna get worse when the time comes. So it's making me even more nervous..I have a low pain tolerance
