Hey Moms! So recently I thought I was going to start employment with a local hospital & today they informed me i wasnt a good fit for the position.😡😖 My SO suggested that i instead enroll into the Horticulture program that ive always wanted to and he would take care of working while i basically go for my dream career. Im really appreciative about this & my only conflict internally is the idea of being a stay at home mom/student & feeling like ashamed of my SO taking on such an overwhelming responsibility. At times i feel im being silly about it and overthinking & then im worried ill become a dependent burden on him. Anyone else struggled with these types of feelings or are stay at home moms that have overcome? Thanks everyone😊

I had to overcome it. I’m so use to having a job and I still feel horrible that my bf is the only one bringing in the income but it was his decision and we don’t trust daycares so once the baby gets older I’m going back to work that’s for sure. It’s so great he’s being supportive. Don’t be hard on yourself. You’ll be okay. 😊

@sabby I'm saving everything you just wrote & making sure to read it everyday. It feels like society has such negative things to say about how a household should be, with 2 working parents i often wonder well what about the kids?

@lexirosex3 Same here i feel TERRIBLE as well. However we DON'T trust day cares either. Will deff go back to work when our baby gets older .. I feel is a burden. But he is happy with our decision as new parents.

Thanks so much ladies! I knew i couldn't have been the only one to feel like this im just hopeful to the positive this decision can be on pur relationship since in the past ive felt as though i was the one responsible for everything n never really gave SO much credit to be the "Man" of the house lol
