I ate cold deli meat

@keilaa yeah there's a bunch of stuff you're not supposed to eat, but if you look at the reasoning, it's dated. Everything has the possibility to be contaminated with something life threatening.

Yeah, I have cut back on deli meat, but when I do eat it I use heat to kill any possible bacteria. I also get the kind without sodium nitrates but have been doing that prior to getting pregnant.

There’s so many rules as what to eat or not, i ate everything i always did but with lunch meat it was once in a while . The only thing i was very careful was fish because if the mercury in them

I ate Chinese, I ate cold cut sandwiches. Granted I was picky with where I got my meat

You're supposed to heat it for 30 seconds eeven for young children to kill any listeria bacteria that might be on it.

Listeria can be deadly to young children, elderly and pregnant women.

There’s honestly so many different opinions on everything when it comes to pregnancy, I’ve heard that you’re “not supposed” to eat lunch meat. But I still do, pregnant or not lunch meat isn’t healthy, I just don’t eat it everyday like any other junk food.

I’ve always ate mine cold , and never had a problem either .
