@micahsmoeder, Yh I know it’s hard when u have nobody around to look after your other child, luckily I had my Mother in law to see my older boy , otherwise it would ve been a different story lol ....oh & my water broke when I was about to push 🙈 lol ... I was asking what’s that they said nothing to worry about ur water just popped 😂 x

@farahamran ooh that sounds so exciting I am dreading that the baby would come at that kind of time in the night though. Imagine getting child care!

@beffgoude 😂😂 you just know your own body I think. I would have too but both times I had to get stitches and my 2nd I had to get a antibiotic IV first before delivery because I had strep b x

@daniellep5690 same! I was like just let me finish my brew then we'll go! I'd have had a home birth tbh, but my OH weren't feeling it haha 😂

@micahsmoeder, with my second son I had slow pains for 2 nights , I mentioned to my midwife & she said they could be Braxton hicks or ur body getting ready for labour but then they suddenly disappeared on 3rd night ...I went to sleep & I woke up 2oclock for a wee & I thought those pains came back they probably go away soon , however they were so strong I couldn’t even sit down or lay down & they were just so sharp , I couldn’t bare them anymore, also were every 3-4 minutes apart 😬 so I woke my OH up I knew I was going into labour he rang birth centre. They asked if my water broken or I had any show but I had nothing however they told me to come in & they ll examine me , all in all I went in by 3:15am & I was already 10cm dilated 😱😱 , they had to fill the birth pool up for me quickly as soon as I went in the pool I had the urge to push ...all in all my baby Ibrahim was born 5:15am so in 3 & half hours I got through everything & I had my beautiful baby boy in my arms 😍

Totally different experience than my older son I was in labour with him for 12 hours pushing stage 😫 lol 😂

So Yh 2nd time around very quick 😅 lol

@daniellep5690 I hope so too hun! This pregnancy has been so hard. I am expecting zero amounts of talk back when he grows up because what I'm going through and been through is actually mad this time around xx

@micahsmoeder @beffgoude I'm the same never lost my plug. 100% more calm at home, I remember sitting on the sofa my OH just came rushing in the door like right let's go n I'm like no not yet ... I ironed his t-shirt and made him a sandwich and doubled check my hospital bag 😂 x

@beffgoude that's crazy I thought you had to at least lose the plug but clearly not! I didn't know that

@daniellep5690 haha, im kinda glad I waited though my OH wanted me to go in sooner. The min I got to hospital all pains felt worse and intensified. Think mentally im more calm at home.

@micahsmoeder I literally just woke up in morning about 10 and started having contractions about 15-10mins apart, then they just got closer and closer together. I would say they were more intense second time round but my labour was quicker cause my body clearly knew what it was doing haha. Left for hospital just before 3 had little'un at 4. I never loose my plug or my waters until I'm in labour, just before baby turns up 😂

@micahsmoeder my waters broke with my first pregnancy and it was just like I had pee'd a little and then a leaky tap just constantly dripping and I didn't get contracts till 4 hours later and they were pretty intense.

Got to hospital at 7pm delivered for 9.59pm.

2nd my contractions started and it was like period pain to start then it got more intense but I would say my 2nd labour was easier .. less painful and quicker. 1st labour I had the diamorphine jag and 2nd labour I had no drugs except gas and air. Xx

@bonnieb oh no that sounds so stressful did they find out why you were bleeding!

@daniellep5690 @beffgoude what were your contractions like. Were they as bad as the first time round? Did your waters break

@beffgoude a whole 6 cm 😫 flipping heck. I thought I knew my body but this pregnancy has surprised me in so many ways I've just surrendered my body to the baby for now

@beffgoude I'm the same .. I was in the house and they were around 1minute long and 4mins apart got to the hospital at 2pm n I was 6cm and had my little one at 4.29pm .. x

@chesscalouise if my water breaks I'm sprinting to the hospital! Husband's at work till late and I've got no one to look after my baba so I really hope it's not today

Lol the labour part I don’t mind if just freaking out about child care for my son lol. What if they don’t get here in time 😳 shocking lol xx

With my second they said come in when your having 3 every 10mins. I waited till then and when I got to hospital i was 6cm had my daughter an hour later 😂😂 so good luck, and if you feel you need to go to hospital sooner go, you know your body!

Seconds do come a lot quicker essentially if you've not long had a baby my son was born in something like 52 minutes after my first contraction my tip would be if the pains aren't going and there getting painful or your waters go definitely go straight up @micahsmoeder @rachaellw xx

@micahsmoeder, I was still walking, the bath wasn’t easing any of the pains and I’d just had enough so made my hubby to drive me up there. Xx

My gosh! That must have been horrific babe. Imagine if you just stayed home? Were the contractions really bad through out or could you still talk through them? Xx

This is what I’m dreading with my second. I didn’t even no I was really in labour as I had slow labour for a week, when I thought I needed some extra pain relief I went up there, they examined me and I was 8cm and I had no idea. Goood luck xxx
