@asandovaln I did have shooting pain sometimes and it wasnt mastitis thankfully.
Palmers cocoa nursing butter helped me and if you can let it air dry after applying to let it soak in. Breastfeeding was hard but rewarding. I tried to just wear a light baggy shirt or honestly nothing on top if you can cause material and nursing pads would rub on nipples and made it hurt. Or there is a cotton nursing bra from madea at babys r us.
@asandovaln, awh ! The cream should help keep them nips nice An moisturized !
@lost.sock.thief, I didn’t realize I had them until it started hurting so bad at the beginning of each pumping sesh 😫 I’m hoping the nipple cream helps I don’t want to give up bc of them
@littleonemorning, how long could you exclusively pump my supply dried up after a few months /:
@asandovaln, I used to only pump same situation as @littleonemorning,
And I didn’t ever have scabs but I’m sure it’s not uncommon and shooting pains I personally never got just make sure you pump often and use nipple cream
@asandovaln, no scabs, but pain yes. Especially if I went too long without pumping
@littleonemorning, @mckallalynn.., did you guys ever get random shooting pains?? & is it normal to have scabs??? My baby was tongue tied & is really tiny so she’s having a hard time latching ☹️
I did with my son in the beginning, I have weird nipples lol so he couldn’t latch well.
@jlbentley231, I don’t have mastitis either I was so scared it would be! Apparently I had a clogged duct
