This potty training thing is gonna be the death of me!

She will sit on the potty for hours but won’t do anything. As soon as I put her diaper on her she pees.

I take the potty in the bathroom and have her sit on it while I use the big one and she doesn’t do anything.

I know people say she will go when she’s ready.

She takes her diaper off when she pees, and she gets the wipes and wipes her butt, so I’m hoping she takes to the potty soon.

Elimination communication/potty training.

Elimination communication/potty training. My little girl is 6 months old. I'd like to get her to associate potty with going potty! She cues that she is pooping DURING. Peeing, I haven't noticed any cues. Past 3 weeks, she has been peeing during diaper change on the table. I tried seeing if she pees when I take off the dirty diaper and have her over the toilet. Nothing. Until I bring her to the changing table. Is she just wanting to pee while laying down or is it the changing table association? Would it help to put a mini potty on the changing table or to move the table to the bathroom?? Obviously, keep trying is the key. But not sure how to move forward. She isn't sitting on her own yet. I have read that sometimes the baby starts to prefer peeing while sitting once they learn to sit on their own. Rant! My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.
