When did your kids give up napping and what did the transition period look like?
Daria doesn't get tired enough for a nap until it is time to wake up from one, but gets overtired and doesn't feel well without one at all. Surely a 17 month old is waaaay to young to give up napping???
@sara-lou86 I so hope it is just a phase! I would love it if she had at least a short nap till she is at least 3...
@kayteamay I think Daria is the same. If I allow her not to nap she gets really tired and is either really surpsessed compared to her usual self, or starts crying about 3-4 because she is overtired :(
Putting her down when she is fighting it is not a very grateful job either, today it took me 2 hours and she napped for 1. The 2 hours neither of us enjoyed, they were wasted, and bed time was late and not easy either.
And if she is awake all the time, when do I even do my chores? She hates it when I cook, if I clean, she makes a worse mess while I'm cleaning by trying to help, or just cries, can't iron in front of her because she crawls under the board and pulls the cord :///
Lola stopped napping at about a year and a half. She went the whole day without napping but would get really grumpy! She still gets grumpy and sometimes falls asleeo but it depends if shes had a busy day or didnt sleep well the night before x
I would say the average age is between 2-3years. But I have known children to nap over 3years and some to stop before 2. Morgan stopped having naps around 2 for a little while then started needing them again until he was about 2 1/2years.
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...

Religion Conspiracy/Theory
**This is not to bash peoples religion and beliefs but to talk about our own theories and ideas** I would like to discuss a certain topic that came to mind after talking to my SO. I know some of you ladies like a good conspiracy talk so i would like to have a good discussion and hear thoughts of others. So back story my SO friends got very offended when he mentioned not believing in god or religion and it got me thinking. Is religion a failing form of goverment cont...

I guess she has to get used to you doing things eventually. I try to limit day chores. Ironing I do in the evening and upstairs I do at the weekend. They either follow me around or I give them a snack & put the tv on lol.
