what's people's opinions on cot bumpers?

I've heard it increases the chance of cot death , SID. On my son's Moses basket he has a built in number thing that ties on with ribbon but I'm forever tieing it up again!xxx

I had one on Jarrod’s for a few months but then i just went off it and took it off xxx

We've got a bumper on Ethans cot, it's tied on at the top and the bottom to stop it falling on him, he used to get his legs between the bars xx

I second what Erin said it increases SIDS they're trying to get them removed. They're pretty but I never used one x

They are pretty but new research suggest not to use them :) of course it's personal preference but if used wash often and make sure they don't come loose!xxx

I used a breathable mesh bumper for Morgan. Started to with Max but then took it off as he never really moved too much. The old fashion bumpers are more for looks than anything else. They hold no practical use.
