@nessairieray hormones. It slows your digestion (which is also why you get so constipated so easily) and also softens muscles, like the ones in your throat. It's the perfect storm for some acid reflux.

@nessairieray yeah I was bloated as fuck. I looked more pregnant at 8 weeks than I do now because I was so backed up. Someone joked once about trying coffee to keep everything moving and hand to God it worked.
