Hi ladies! How long can I expect my 7 month olds cold to last? He had a stuffy nose early last week that almost went away and yesterday he developed a bit of a cough and he’s more stuffy. He has no fever, he’s still happy and his normal self. I’ve been giving him zarbee’s which helps a little bit. Alsi, he has a wubanub for a pacifier: any opinions on if I can wash it or just throw it out and get him a new one so he is not reinfecting himself?

@happymomma., thanks! I’ve had the humidifier going the last few nights and it does seem to make breathing a little easier. It’s just hard to see them sick, wishing it will be over soon

It’s hard to tell how long it will last, it just depends on the virus that he got. I would try running a humidifier but there’s not a lot to worry about unless he gets a fever that can’t be broke. The wabbanub can be washed in your washer and air dried, just make sure you wash the nipple with warm water and dish soap after. You can also place the nipple in boiling water for 2 or 3 minutes to sterilize. I hope your little guy gets better soon! It always stinks when they aren’t feeling well..
