bartender/waitress moms-to-be! I currently bartend & take tables at my work. my shifts are 7-8 hours long but very high pace. I am currently 25 weeks and due May 1st. I was wondering from experience or preference, should I bartend up until I deliver? should I go down to just serving April 1st? or should I just finish off saving the amount of money I need saved then stop working?

Go with whatever is most physically comfortable dont push yourself to hard for the money aspect of it. Remember a job you love you will never work a day in your life

@swanson.jacquelyn Didnt need to prep anything. Plus i wanted more time with my baby once they are born. I dont want to go back to work when my baby is 3 weeks old because i took off too early before the baby was born. Just me though. I got to spend 2 plus months with each baby

@swanson.jacquelyn With my son, yes; with my daughter, no. I had plenty of time to prepare for her.

Go off of how you feel. My first pregnancy I worked up until the day I had her. Even worked two days in a row 12 hour shifts just a day before she came lol. Some momma need that break though. This pregnancy I honeestly don’t think I could do half of the stuff I did with my first My body hates me this time haha!

@sassymom @beemommyof3 y'all wish you would have taken time off to prep before the baby came or no?

It all depends on you and your pregnancy. I was a manager at a major theme park when I was pregnant with my son. Not only did I work right up until the end, but the last month we had a huge event going on all month. At nine months pregnant, I was still moving kegs and cases of beer. Fast forward to my pregnancy with my daughter, and it was hard. I had to drop down to minimal shifts every week by my second trimester and ended up on bed rest the last month (morning sickness and swelling were huge factors).

My husband takes his cousin girlfriend to work. Should I be worried about the FEMALE coming on to my husband?

jacqueline.garth I trust my husband 100% but I would still be uncomfortable. It would be different if you
xoxochelsey Why can't her own bf give her a ride to work? I wouldn't let my husband drive
xoxochelsey Then she would be walking to work. If they don't have a car that's their problem not
