My son is 4 he knows how to go to the potty hes on pull ups and wears underwear during the day but im having trouble he never wants to go potty and always goes in his pull ups or his underwear he knows how and what to do and yes i tell him and have him go but he still goes in pull up like hes lazy and just doesnt want to does any one else have issues with their toddler?

@prisah01, I would cut out pull ups all together. I’m sure he’s learned by now that if he pees in his undies, he’d get put into pull ups....NOT TODAY. Mwahahahahaha.
Hide the pull ups and say “no more” 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ accidents are going to happen but he’ll get tired of peeing and soon realize he’s not getting hit pull up ways. I never used pull-ups , they prolong potty training. They’re diapers for big kids ....

has anyone experienced a child who doesn't want to use the potty? My son fully understands the process of using the potty and knows when he has to go but he just doesn't want to use the potty. He loves diapers/pullups 😐. I have tried getting him his favorite underwear, a potty with one of his favorite characters, I've tried just sitting him on it with a book as well as reading the potty book.

I'm getting so frustrated trying to potty train my 2.5 year old. We've started potty training so many times but he just doesn't seem to get it. For 4-5 days I put him in big boy underwear and put him on the potty every 20-30 mins and that's the only time he goes in the potty is if he happens to go when I put him on it other than that he just goes in the underwear and doesn't care.
