My baby has to get his one year old shots soon, can I give him Motrin an hour before hand? Maybe to ease the pain and help the fever? I didn't think about it before with his other shots, but since he's Gotta get 5 shots I figured I'd ask/try maybe
Flu shot
Is anyone getting a flu shot? Every time I get one, I get the flu really bad. The years I don't get the shot, I am fine. My on strongly recommends I get one before the baby gets here. I didn't get one when my son was born. I'm torn. Don't know what I should do!!!

What is your opinion on the Philando Castile shooting? I just saw a recording of his 4 year old telling the mom not to scream so she doesn't get shot. That video broke my heart. I haven't read into the whole thing but do you think the cop was in the right?
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.

I took my son to his new pediatrician yesterday. I loved her! Except for one thing. She said to go back in 4 months so my son gets his flu shot. I told her we don't get the flu shot and she said he has to because I'm having a baby soon and that's what's best. Really? He got the tdap and I'm getting the tdap in two weeks but is the flu shot really necessary? I've always been against getting it. What are your thoughts?
Back with my older kids the pediatrician always told me to and sometime they stopped for some reason maybe just to be sure the child doesn't have a fever before so just make sure temp is good
