After having baby I planned on taking her home to Canada to meet my family there... but my lawyer said I won’t be able to leave the US until 2019 😔🤧 so hard to stay strong through all this plus being pregnant..

@cheyenneelizabeth1716, because they’re so behind on approving green cards, it’s usually a 6 month wait... but they’re still working on approving people from January 2017. They’re a year behind 😒

@cheyenneelizabeth1716, oh and once you submit papers for a green card you’re not allowed to leave the country, don’t know why just a rule.

@mommytoluca, no green card yet, I just got a work visa that will let me drive and work in the mean time. And my dads to sick to travel so it kinda sucks! How hard is it not having your family in the same country 🤦🏻♀️

@raelene_g, extremely,I can’t even tell you how much I cried when the baby was born and they weren’t here. They can come but life’s just so busy down there for them so the can’t just get to and leave. 😭

@mommytoluca, i break down all the time, as much as it sucks I like knowing I’m not the only one in this kind of situation. My family is so busy to, like I still have little siblings that need my parents around. I feel for you 💕
