Breastfeeding mama's...or anyone else that can answer this. I'm running a low grade fever right now, congested and a tiny bit of a sore throat. Should I continue breastfeeding bubs, or let daddy feed him formula? (He gets formula occasionally anyways, usually overnight). I don't want to chance my little one getting sick cause I feel god awful right now, and it would break my heart if he had to feel the same way 😭

You are just giving him antibodies for what you have. You won't pass the sickness to him just the antibodies to fight it. It is very important for their tiny immune systems to get the antibodies from you

Oh I'm sorry! I really am out of it :( I was just curious as to whether or not I can breastfeed him while I'm sick.

@ilovemykids97 oh I'm so glad to hear that!! Daddy is going to give him bottles today, he agreed to get up with him all night!!! Im so bummed about not breastfeeding him, but I literally't cant even move. but after a decent amount of sleep, he will be right back on me!!! Thank you so much mama! ❤️
