Again it’s 9:00pm and my boss still has his daughter sleeping for a nap 🤬🤬 like I’m not staying up…

Are you there enough to put her on a schedule?

Not having a schedule is awful. Do they take care of her at all? A schedule is key!

@gracelynnsmama, the little boy has a schedule but he puts his daughter to bed whenever he feels like she’s tired sometimes it’s midnight sometimes it’s later. Tonight I’ll be lucky if it’s before 2am . He lets her do whatever she wants and I have to just go with it 😑 he only has his kids on the weekends so me and my sister are here doing 24/7 coverage so he barely takes cares of his kids

@alyssa_hoffmaster, I understand mama! Money is money! And your get to bring your daughter with you which is a huge benefit!

I'm in maternity leave and because I work part time; I have nothing but a little sick time since I started both jobs in the past year. However with my first, I was working full time in a school district. My bp would be so high at work; I'd end up having to leave and get monitored; had lots of complications. Was out in bed rest at 28 weeks.. unpaid; had her at 34 weeks. I went 6 months not working where she was a preemie.

This time around I made it to 9 months pregnant and I was working a few days a week since I got my masters degree right before my first was born. I'll have to go back in 6-8 weeks but 2 days a week and the few hours we need someone to watch the girls; my mom will until my husband gets home from work. And I'm sure she'll stay in the beginning if he needs a little help where they are so close in age and it's dinner and bed time that he does on his own 😂

@alyssa_hoffmaster, it was so scary. My husband was unemployed at one point for a few months. What we had saved for my leave we needed since it was summer. But he got the job he has just as things went south in my pregnancy. They were and are so good to him. He called out Friday last minute. I was having on and off contractions and then vomiting and seeing stars. He was about to walk out the door and he just couldn't leave me. I had a scheduled ob appointment so he took me so I didn't drive. I'm ok but still see stars occasionally. The husband in him has told me no more driving but I'm fine with that. When it rains it pours. His car needs over 1k of repairs so when he can; he's been using my SUV anyways 😂 he already put his car in our garage until we can fix it. Hopefully sooner than later. It all started when the battery died and now has a laundry list of safety repairs we can't afford while I'm not working.

@gracelynnsmama, I know, I’m in the same boat. Boyfriend lost his job for a month and a half so behind on every bill.... I’m just looking forward to income tax so that we can catch up on everything

@alyssa_hoffmaster, exactly. We are just trying to get to that point. We were able to pay two months rent in advance so that's one less burden to worry about
