I do its great ! They basically make u a grocery list with things u can buy each month with a wic card

I used to have it with my first child. It assists you until the child is age 5. It’s a huge help. I was unemployed just before giving birth to my son. Now, I exceed income requirements. I think the cap is a family of 2 cannot make more than $40k (at least in FL). It varies by state. You can find more info online.

They even help if you choose to breastfeed. They provide even more healthy food. If you choose to use formula, they provide it. When your baby starts eating solids, they provide baby food. If you qualify, you should definitely take advantage of it.

Back in the day, WIC was given on printed coupons. The fact that it’s a card now is a big improvement.

They base it on your income and will provide formula for your baby when it's born unless you exclusively breastfeed. Then you'll get healthy foods issued each month. You also get food while pregnant if you qualify. You'll get infant cereal and baby food too. Age appropriate foods Until the child is 5 years old. You have to go in about every 3 months. Every other appointment is to just load your card and see if anything has changed. The other appointments are recerts. You get weighed and fill out paper work, baby gets weighed etc.
