How long do your kids take naps for my daughter just turned one last Saturday and now whenever I been putting her down for her afternoon nap she has only been sleeping for like an hour hour and a half I'm surprised because I know they go from taking like 3 naps a day and now I'm just wondering if she will even nap anymore sooner or later
@colh416, then I wouldn’t worry. As long as she’s still sleeping as much as she should and needs, then it sounds like all is good!
Jacob didn’t start sleeping through the night until he dropped his morning nap and we started sleep training. He was never a good napper but now he does great
@lizibear84 she transitioned on her own to one nap and she is really good at nighttime she goes to bed every night at 7:30 and she usually just starts to get cranky at 5 and I just have to occupy her with toys and stuff until it's time for bed
@colh416, It’s too early for her to drop naps. She may just need as long of one. Did she transition to one on her own? And is bedtime the same or is she fighting it?
@lizibear84 yea she just takes one nap now and it just seemed like she was starting to sleep less during her nap so I was wondering if she wouldn't be taking a nap soon
Is she taking one nap a day? My son takes one a day in the afternoon and sleeps anywhere from 1-3 hours
@morgan.k o wow I guess I am kind of lucky that's how I like to be to I like to try to get some stuff done
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
@lizibear84 that's good I did sleep train her in the beginning for nighttime I started pretty early around 4 months so I think that helped a lot and I am glad to hear that at least if she is getting enough during the night that's all that matters I know it is important for them to get rest
