Went to the dr for my weekly check and my blood pressure was 166/122. They waited 15 minutes and checked again and it had gone up to 190/? !! So I was sent to L&D to be monitored for an hour and my blood pressure had dropped to 140/80 so they sent me home on bed rest ... now I’m nervous my BP is gonna spike again while I’m at home and I won’t know. That sounds scary high. I wish they would have just induced me😩

I had a scare but it went down and now all is well!
@morgan.k, did yours stay high? They only monitored me for an hour.
@elenalee, gosh that is good news though I hope this time I don’t get it either way high BP is scary and your already at the end. If you feel like it’s high again go to the doctor im sure they will induce then who knows
@nessairieray, they didn’t say I had it this time no, but I’m really swollen and my BP was high, but my urine protein was trace so they didn’t diagnose me with it.
@elenalee, wait but you don’t have preeclampsia this time?? Ohhh that’s probably why they didn’t induce you if you don’t have it. I had it bad
@nessairieray, I don’t know what to do?! I told the nurse I was scared to go home and would rather just be induced but she said baby was fine and my blood pressure was fine and to just stay in bed this weekend. 😤
@elenalee, omg I also had preeclampsia with both pregnancies they should know better since you had again that your BP will go up again
@nessairieray, that’s what I was thinking! The induced me with my first because of high blood pressure with pre eclampsia and it wasn’t as high then as it is now! Uhhg
@elenalee, lol girl yessss like high BP is scary I know what you mean I’m just so surprised like once you have high BP it can come back
@nessairieray, I’m really surprised too! I’ll be 38 weeks tomorrow. I see my dr again on Monday but I’m gonna be freaking out all weekend which probably won’t help my BP lol.
I’m really surprised they didn’t induce you I had high blood pressure with both pregnancies at 38 Weeks and they induced me that day your only 37 Weeks I’m really surprised they sent you home
i went to the hospital every Thursday my last weeks of pregnancy for the same thing and everytime i got to hospital my BP was always back normal by the third week my dr induced me
