I’m getting a membrane sweep Wednesday morning and I’ll be 38 weeks. Mg doctor was telling me I’m 1cm dilated at my 37 week appt and 50% effaced. She also said baby was VERY low which I figured because I can hardly walk plus it’s crazy pressure and sharp pains Nonstop.... so I was wondering are there any other moms who had a really low baby that got the sweep and actually had success with it? I’m seeing so many mixed reviews on it working.
No need to worry! For me it wasn't painful just really uncomfortable so prepare yourself and try to relax and hopefully it all works out! Just remember to keep moving.
At 3cm 75% effaced...The doctors told me it was a 50% chance of the sweep working. It was 2 days before my scheduled induction. I was determined to get him out naturally. A few hours after the sweep, my cramping gradually got worse and worse and by 2:46am the next morning my baby boy was in my arms. And to add on the the fast labor, I birthed him and shot him out in 15 mins time. Ouch! In addition to the sweep I did a lot of walking and bouncing on my birth ball; who knows if it helped lol Good luck!
Had it yesterday at 39w was 4cm and 50% effaced spotted and cramped all day yesterday starting to get BH again this morning. Will keep you posted if anything happens!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
