So I went to my 35 week appointment telling the Dr the same things I've been saying for the last month or so about constant headaches and still getting nauseous and throwing up sometimes and seeing floaters alot and feeling quite weird. I know something isn't right. I gained 10 lb in a week and a half to two weeks, I've gained 50 so far. I was 127 before pregnancy, this is my 3rd. I have big babies my 2nd was 10 lb 15 oz and I gained a lot with him as well and it all came off in a year without dieting and all the Dr was worried about is my weight and asking if im eating cake ice cream and fried foods and I kept saying something isn't right my symptoms have became more frequent and I know this being my 3rd pregnancy in 4 years that this just isn't right. Baby is perfect. But idk what is going on with me. He said I should go to a neurologist... And began to talk about my weight again... My baby was already 6 lb at 32 weeks. He's in the 90th percentile for running bigger.

How is your blood pressure?

@littleonemorning normal, like 120 over 60 and theirs no protien in my urine sorry tmi but I have all the other symptoms of pre eclampsia but I guess that's not it since the Dr said because those are fine he ruled that out. They're doing blood work to check my thyroid levels and glucose again. I had a hyperthyroidism graves disease but that got taken care of a few years back and I've been fine since.

@gvarra92, hm, interesting that would have been my first through. I guess the upside is your almost done! And hopefully you get answers, other than your weight. That would annoy me so much.

If you’ve had normal blood work, I have no idea what it could be. I know my vision has been blurry and I see floaters sometimes. It’s not unusual for vision to change during pregnancy.
The headaches are a little alarming. Could be the pregnancy, but if they continue after pregnancy, I would look into getting a scan too. You never know.

I know doctors tend to brush off women’s complaints as overreacting, and say it’s all about the weight. ‘Lose the weight and you’ll be better!’ Ha. You’d think an OB would be more open minded and willing to take a woman’s complaints seriously, but I guess not. It’s taken three years and several OBs to finally get sent for a test for consistent pain.
Is there another doctor you could see? Get a second opinion?
