I have a question , i conceived July 1st of 2017 my due date is march 28th so how am i 7 months already shouldn't i had been 6 months as soon as January 1st hit
The weeks are calculated based on the first day of your last period not when you actually conceived so it’s a bit off.
@angelamartin453, make sure you hit reply so we’ll get notifications
Also if you think about it theres 9 months total, 3 in every trimester so if youre in your 3rd trimester at 27 weeks than at 27 weeks is the start of your 7th month ❤ congrats! My original due date was march 28th!
I swear that's what i said but i don't want him thinking there's another possible father
No. If you had sex on the 1st, you could’ve conceived anytime after that but it wouldn’t matter because regardless of when you conceived, your weeks are based on your period which was probably around the 20th of June
Yea but that would make me over over due lol but thanks i already know he's his i just needed a better way to explain it to him
You can’t technically tell you’re pregnant until 4 weeks so there’s the missing month
And there are actually 10 months of pregnancy. Again, only because it’s calculated from your last period
Okay. Well, I just calculated it and your estimated conception date would have been around the 5th of July. You don’t get pregnant immediately. It takes a while for the baby to implant and for you to technically have conceived. You would still be 29 weeks so if the guy you’re talking about was the only one you slept with from July 1st-7th or so, then it’s definitely his
No i didn't have sex with anyone until July 1st and even still that would make me 10 months not 9
It was in the beginning of June i really don't know the exact date but i was feeling really sick and she told me i was 2 weeks pregnant but then my OB told me something different
Okay let me ask this, when was your last period? Because usually people don’t find out they’re pregnant until they’re 4 weeks along.
Because that was the day i had sex and when i went to the dr she told me i was 2 weeks pregnant and 2 weeks ago from that date was july 1st
He also has people in his ear saying the same thing and he feels because they have kids they know exactly what their talking about and he swears I'm the only one going through this
Well, yeah there would be about a whole month missing because of the way it’s calculated.
Right that's what I'm telling him but he keeps saying there's a whole month missing and we hadn't done anything before July 1st so now he feels like he's not his baby
They calculate it from your last period because it’s almost impossible to pin point exactly when you conceived
I'm sorry if I'm confusing anyone its just that now the father is questioning me and i know what my dr told me but it does make sense to me how he broke it down to me
The weeks are calculated based on the first day of your last period not when you actually conceived so it’s a bit off.
I go by an app and it tells me that I'm 7 months according to my due date but i concieved July 1st so wouldn't that mean august 1st I'd be a month and so on and so on until January 1st i should be 6 months not 7
I conceived July 4th 2017 my due date is March 26th , I’m 29 weeks and 3 days so I’m in my 7th month so that would mean you are in your 7th month
20 weeks = 5 months
24 weeks = 6 months
28 weeks = 7 months
At least, that’s how I would count it. Of course there aren’t exactly 4 weeks in every month.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Ok ladies. Let's have a quick discussion. I will start with a question.
Let's say that you gave birth to a beautiful baby on January 1st (yay 😍🍼)!! Okay, so that baby turns 1 month old on February 1st, right?! Right! Let's fast forward 40 weeks which would be October 7th. Your baby just turned 9 months on October 1st....right?!? Awesome!
It's the exact same for pregnancy. You aren't pregnant for 10 months. It doesn't have to be difficult. I don't know about the rest of you, but I do NOT want ...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I can't stand to see a baby on the bare couch its nasty, put a blanket down 1st!!
Ok vent over 😂

Question I took a 1st response pregnancy test and it showed me this
20 weeks = 5 months
24 weeks = 6 months
28 weeks = 7 months
At least, that’s how I would count it. Of course there aren’t exactly 4 weeks in every month.
