Some men get very protective when their woman is prego..i personally am a clean freak...but..a few dishes won't hurt and yeah curfew my ass hahah

@mommy121518 yea I told him he is controlling he said he is being responsible not controlling :( I don't think so because him telling me not to be out and stuff even to the stores is a bit too much

@verguinia im only telling u becuase i go to a group where it involves domestic violance and they said that controling is a trigger point to where they feel comfterble enough to think they can run u even if they dont put hands on u ..my ex started off like thst and got worse had a few black eyes and busted lip..i was never able to do anything it was always a problem..im not saying u are in a relationship like that but watch out for trigger points

@verguinia Yes becareful i spent my life from 15 -20 yrs old w a very controlling man father of my 1st son..When u get enough smacks.punches.VERbal abuse-You will see it doesn't get better until YOU put your foot down or leave! I Met a better man and great father to my 1st son at age 5 he treated him like his own! We are together 16 yrs now..be safe please

My husband doesn't tell me shit 🙄. Out of respect I tell him where I'm going and if I'm out without him I'll give him an idea of when I'll be back and update him if I run over.

@sherrynygirl thank you my daughter never had a dad then this guy came along he is really good with us now I'm sad and hope he doesn't turn out abusive because I trully just want a good relationship for once I pray he doesn't get to that point I really do

@verguinia. If your in street like a party chic is dif story but..if your working hard for your family. LET no man tell you a grown up when to be home by...we all have faults control is a serious defect not a fault please stay safe

@sherrynygirl yes I was home for like three months throwing up and sleeping then felt better and started cooking and cleaning as much as I can and one day friends invite me to spend time with them and thier kids so I get home at 10 and he has an issue with it

@sherrynygirl yea he is insecure it's not my problem I have alot of friends I am very outgoing and has a life before he came in since my family is not in my life so much I have made many friendships I consider family and him thinking he can just come in and control me .....hold on....really....

@verguinia my 1st son's father was abusive..waited 8 yrs from having my 1st son to have more kids with a better man..i know what u mean nightmares but..taking control of your own life and own thoughts and know your words count and matter so your man needs to Respect you

@sherrynygirl yes I also waited 8 years and sadly still found an abuser I'm trying my best to let him know I matter let see where it goes if not I have no idea what to do

@verguinia every city has places to help women especially in domestic issues..#1 know its Not your fault these places can help you and your child/children move asap help w moving deposits..check into it if your serious about wanting to leave

I would of laughed in my husbands face if he ever said be home by this time. I need my me time and if my friend and I want to walk around Walmart at midnight we walk around Walmart at midnight lol. Of course I am reasonable with the time if he has to work the next day. But I don’t leave the house spotless, I pick up and he can take care of the rest.

That kind of behavior is a huge red flag. And him claiming that his controlling behavior is "responsible" really isnt a goof sign either. I don't want to make you feel bad but if he doesn't change that behavior like yesterday you really shouldn't be with him cause it will only escalate. As much as it might hurt to let him go a relationship like that is unsustainable and will most likely only get worse. Just be careful and remember there's someone else out there who will treat you the way you deserve to be treated and it sucks trying to find them and sometimes it'll feel like you never will but it will happen. And the longer you stay with Mr. Wrong the longer it will take to find Mr. Right.

@justinakmatta your right I appritiate your honesty and also everyone else honesty on this situation who had commented. I see that more and more people agree with the red flag I trully need to start thinking better and get situated I quit my job he said he will take care of me but yesterday he said he won't give me any more money and I have credit cards I need to pay off. He thinks he can control me with his money and actions but he forgot one think I always been on my own I got this don't need his help. He not looking so powerful to me !

@verguinia oh girl him convincing you to quit your job was just another way to control you. You gotta get out of that relationship asap! He wants to alienate you from your friends, make you depend on him financially so that when things get bad you feel you have nowhere to go. That's what abusers do.

@justinakmatta I'm renting a room in his house that's how we started I have my own key he needs to be there for the child I am not gonna let another man get away with me doing all the work I'm gonna make him help and if he starts some stupid shirt I only stay in my room with my kids but he needs to be there when I need a break a nap take the baby when is sick responsibility doesn't only fall on me.

@justinakmatta I'm not gonna let him do that I started working with my baby sitter today i get home around 6:00 now and when the baby is born I'm still gonna be working with her because we take newborns in there !
