I was constipated for like a week when I was pregnant. My back and stomach hurt so bad. So she may be right.

I think miralax is the only safe "medicine" for constipation that you can take while pregnant. Eat some fiber too. Fiber is supposed to help. Coffee is a natural laxative but if you drink some don't drink a lot. Weird question but Has it been very long since you've been able to use the restroom?

@rikki.ferguson it's been a couple days since I've had a good movement but I've pottied a small amount twice today. I'm gonna see if I've got any miralax laying around still.

@layyy I told my mom I'd rather push my daughter out again lol. I'm sweating nauseous and hurting in my back and stomach. It eases up some for about fifteen minutes then more pain.

You can take stool softners! Just not ones with laxatives in it. You can get them anywhere. Just ask a pharmacist to make sure they have no laxative added
