So my Midwife suggested that I use castor oil but as I do my research I'm getting good nd bad information... Has anyone on here ever tried it before if so I would love to know how you reacted to it..
@dayanaavila17 it wasn't meant for her to come faster my midwife suggested it when I asked her if I got pass 41 weeks
Just wait for your baby to come naturally ... why would you try to do something to make your baby come faster obviously she/he isn’t ready ... enjoy the time you have left because after that it’s sleepless nights 😴😴(:
@mommy2be2018 your welcome I would do the midwives brew though not straight
@pettybetty omg thats so sad this is scary idk why my midwife would tell me about kt
Honestly do your own research. When I posted the same question I got alot of answers that were just a little crazy. I researched it myself and was like oh okay it's not that bad.
@mommy2be2018 there was a member here that used ot, can't remeber the name... Her baby actually did pass away. Some ome else that's been here longer maybe remember her name. Tragic.
There's alot of doctors and midwives who recommend it. There's a lot of people who don't recommend it. What I don't recommend is taking more then 2 tablespoons. If I didn't use it they were going to medically induce me which i did NOT want to do.
I did it and it didn't work for me... But I have heard good things about it
@pettybetty thanks nd yeah I don't wanna use it anymore I'm glad I ask for advice before I just did it
I did it for two pregnancies and everything went well. There actually no evidence of castor oil passing the placenta.
This is one thing I feel very strongly against. Do not do it. Its not worth the risk. The risk are fatal! Your baby will come when it is ready. You have 2 weeks left. Even if you go past your due due, there are so many safer methods of inducing labor. Csections arent that bad, either.
I did it with my first two; first born pooped in the sac causing us to get an infection. Second born slowed down his movements and I had to be induced 8 days early. It does cause diarrhea which will cause your stomach to contract. It actually started labor for me with my first. I lost my mucus plug & had my bloody show but the contractions were so bad I was literally in a ball crying lol
@mommy2be2018
My midwife suggested lots of sex to soften my cervix. I've also heard squats but nothing helped me. Ended up induced at 41 weeks
@theinkedmommy oh no thats bad... I just rather wait until the finally induced me
@ashleydunn thanks I haven't use it... This is my first baby u would think my midewife would know what she's talking about
I definitely wouldn't do it. It can cause baby to poop in utero which can be deadly for them. I'm not sure why your midwife would even suggest that. I went to 41 weeks and was induced and my midwife never said that 😱 (just saying lol)
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I did it with my middle child and youngest and it helped me and babies were fine..
